Meetings: Meetings are very irregular. It is dependant on the chapter.
Interests: Our core interest is LARP. We wish to provide a network within
which smaller LARP groups across the state of Kansas and beyond may contact
one another, and learn of each other's presence, therefore unifying the
smaller groups into a coherent, diverse, whole--while still containing all
the intricacies and differences of the individual group "cultures".
Notes: We are also interested in: Fantasy Literature, medieval history,
historical warfare, and minature gaming--though these are individual and
somewhat "unofficial" pursuits. We welcome input from all genres and formats
of gaming.
Area: Our current range consists of the net-wired realms of Kansas but, we
welcome interest from beyond the confines of our home state. If you have
a computer and net-access, you are within our range. Please feel free to
drop us a line regardless of your geographic location.
Cons: We sponsor no conventions or major gaming events as of this time.

Meetings: Fridays, 4 pm - 10 pm, other days by request
Meeting Place: Campus Center Building, room 111 (Student Activities
hall, in the Conference Room)
Notes/Areas Of Interest: The Adventurer's Guild isn't very picky. If
someone wants to run it, and people want to play it, we will. We
primarily have Star Wars and/or AD&D games going on, but any game is OK.
Our other interests (TV wise) include standard Sci-Fi (particulary
griping about that week's ST: Voyager) and Fantasy, as well as other
types of shows (like cartoons and MST3k). Several of our members also
have an unhealthy preoccupation with hockey. Other interests include
LARPing and fighting with foam weaponry, and many other things as well,
most of which would actually require me to think at the moment.
Cons: Currently, as a group we neither attend nor sponser conventions,
although this is due to financial restrictions rather than preferences.

| Meetings: |
Right now, we meet on Saturday afternoons at my home in Trappe, MD, just 3/10 of a mile off of US Route 50, the main artery down the peninsula.
|
| Interests: |
Dungeons and Dragons 3.5, Battletech (Suggest another FPRG or game and we'll probably try it)
This group, while primarily an FRPG-oriented gang, plays anything ranging from AD&D, Star Wars and White Wolf's five systems all the way down the list to Battletech, Risk when we're extremely bored and even some bizarre dice- oriented thing David dreamed up called "Rich Boy, Poor Boy..."
|
| Notes: |
WWII history and boardgaming, various card and other games, beating up lame rabbits, random acts of munchie-eating, you know, the things that motivate us all.
The president of the club was the Gaming Editorial Columnist for the World of Greyhawk Fan Club, and the core members of the group have,
combined, more than 65 years of role-playing game experience, plus a collection of RPGs, board games and everything in between that would choke a rhino. The President of the group is also an RPGA-registered Herald-Level GM and is running RPGA-sanctioned events from home.
|
| Area: |
This group plans to attend to the desires of gamers all over the Delmarva Peninsula, from Dover, DE, to Kent Island and Ocean City, MD. The first meeting place, in Trappe, which is smack-dab in the middle of Delmarva, has held meetings off and on for five years.
|
Conventions attended: |
The president has attended several GEN CONs, and the rest of the group visit conventions from New York to Atlanta. All members of the group, as of 5/25/05, are or soon will be RPGA members.

Interests: We are a small group of experienced wargamers who gather

trial period,if we find that we don't like you or your attitude you
don't get in. Yes, it's arbitrary to be sure, but it works for us.

Notes: The Graduate Library Gamers (GLG) started meeting in 1990. We were
all colleagues at the University of Michigan's Harlan Hatcher Graduate
Library and all had a thirst for gaming. Over the years, our group has
changed members but we've always maintained a group size of four which
seems to be the optimum group size for lunch hour gaming sessions. Our
group meets one lunch hour a week in the building's staff lounge. This home
page exists to share our joy for gaming and to show others that good things
can truly happen in the workplace.
