One of the main objectives of the board is to work with Home School Guild closely on fundraising. Home School Guild will still keep track of volunteers that work over 30 hours to do a cost/benefit analysis. The board committees need to pass on information to Home School Guild so their members can implement.
Mrs. Halsy has given Father Emil the plans for the school kitchen for Father to review.
The board will talk to Mark Phillips regarding grant research.
Report of the Principal:
Mary Jane will be sending a memo to parents to see if anyone would be interested in researching and locating grant money. This will also be put in the bulletin also to see if any parishioners have grant writing skills. The bulletin inserts must be given to church 2 to 3 weeks prior to date needed in bulletin. The insert must be pre-approved by Father Emil.
The parishioners responded in great numbers to the prayer petitions. Some sent money to be used to get presents for the children. Mary Jane feels that the parishioners are starving for interaction with the school.
The letter to go out to new parents is attached.
