Annunciation Education Advisory Council

Mission Statement

This board is an advisory and consultative body of the educational affairs of Annunciation Parish School of Elma, NY., subject to the regulations that might proceed from the Ordinary of the Diocese of Buffalo and/or the Diocesan Board of Education. The aim of Annunciation School is to build a sturdy foundation in the basic skills and equally important to instill a love of God and others.

The purpose of the Annunciation Education Advisory Council is to participate with the pastor in providing a quality Catholic Education for the parishioners of Annunciation Parish. Specifically its purpose is to:

1. Develop and promote the policies, in accordance with Diocesan policies, which shall govern the operation of pre-school through grade 8 education programs, including the following areas: policy formation, finances, development, public relations, marketing, planning, facilities, and evaluation.

2. Foster an understanding of the school education programs for on-going Catholic formation.

3. Evaluate the fiscal needs of the school education programs by reviewing and revising the annual budgets prepares by the administrators of the school, and to present those budgets to the Parish Finance Committee. The Budget committee will work with the parish Finance Committee in developing the parish subsidy for the parish school.
