I love teaching at a Catholic School because the kids are Great! Being with them is the best part of my day.

My Catholic teaching mission: To create a spiritual atmosphere in my classroom that enhances learning in a positive, individual and emotional environment.

Just as the Apostles were called to follow Jesus, my teaching is an extension of my Catholic Apostolate. I believe in a holistic learning environment and a strong emphasis on self-esteem. My responsibilities are to fulfill the needs of children entrusted in my care.

I love teaching at Annunciation School for many reasons:

Just like the Apostles were formed through their day to day relationship with Jesus I appreciate the opportunity to awaken my students to a personal relationship with Jesus, by instilling a love of God in each child daily!

The families that attend Annunciation School are remarkable people.  It is with great pleasure to work together with parents who are dedicated to guaranteeing success for their children.

My Catholic Teaching Mission:

To create a Spiritual and Catholic environment where the children grow together in actions that befit disciples.  Learning takes place evolving the whole child while creating a solid foundation for the love of learning, thereby enabling each child to reach his/her full potential.

“A Catholic school setting has allowed me to truly bring Jesus to each and every one of my students through example and instruction. I am most proud of my students as they prepare to receive Eucharist and I see the joy and love in them at that most special time of their lives.”

My Catholic Teaching Mission: - To be sensitive to the individual needs of my students and deliver instruction to them based on their given learning styles. To create a positive, loving atmosphere where the student feels free to work, share and express thoughts and ideas. To foster good moral and ethical conduct based on instruction and example.

My Catholic school years have enabled me to instill students with a good set of basic values through our Religion curriculum, discussion on relationships and shared values. My goal is to achieve all that they can be within their Catholic identity.

Why I Love Teaching in a Catholic School:  Catholic schools make it a priority to introduce and incorporate faith in a loving God into all aspects of education.  I think this has a profound effect on the children's outlook on life and worldview.  They are recognized as unique individuals loved by God and instilled with a sense of purpose for their life.  Becuase of such strong family support, Catholic schools are actually a community working together to educate the whole child.

My Catholic Teaching Mission:

I want to teach children that whatever life throws their way they have a heavenly Father who cares for them.  I want to impart to children the confidence that with God's help, they can learn anything, accomplish anything and have a responsibility to develop all the talents  and gifts God has given them.  I want to instill in my students a concern for people around them and an assurance that they will be happiest when they serve others before themselves.

How do I see my teaching in a Catholic School my vocation:

God has gifted me with a strong faith which I am, like the prophet Jeremiah, unable to keep to myself!  I count it a joy and a privilege to share my faith with my students.  I have been blessed with the ability to communicate and organize so the Catholic classroom is where I feel called and gifted.

I love teaching at a Catholic School because I love the respect the students show towards the teachers and classmates. I like the smaller size classes for better opportunity for individualized instruction. Also, students want to be at this school.

My Catholic teaching mission: My teaching mission has always been to present lessons in various ways so that all student learning levels can understand the material covered. Using manipulatives and real-life situations have satisfied this mission over the years.

I am a product of Catholic education 1-12. I have worked in the public school system both as a teacher and parent volunteer. Both situation*s goals are for the betterment of the pupil, but in the Catholic system there is a desire to teach the pupil physically as well as spiritually. This is my desire also and I am able to do this in a Catholic School with the support of both administration and parents.

Why I Love Teaching in a Catholic School:

Teachers have a huge influence on their students and I take that very seriously.  As a Catholic, I have a much greater responsibility.  I love that I can combine my love for Jesus with my love for music and then we have the opportunity to share that with students of all ages.

My Catholic Teaching Mission:  Jesus First - music second.  To use the gifts God has given me to create a positive learning experience for my students.  To help students make educated and positive choices about the kind of music they allow to influence themselves and their peers.

For me, teaching in a Catholic School is much more than a job, it's my Apostolate... or I wouldn't be here.  I jumped at the opportunity to leave my higher paying secular sales job to take on this mission of teaching and loving these young people.
