Hey, this site is great, but where's the metal people?! Ok, I see John Toland has included a little GNR and I especially give kudos to Alicia Walsh for picking Rocket Queen as her #1 song. That's a great song, and regrettably I forgot to include it, so please make a mental note that I meant to put that in there. But seriously, I urge all of you to check out a KISS concert after you've all seen Bruce for the 23rd time. John Toland, that means you! Also, I picked up Johnny Cash's autobiography the other day while I was food shopping (you know how you glance by the magazines, and after drueling at the latest Maxim cover you see something you might buy) and I highly recommend it to those of you who have any type of reverence for the Man in Black. Oh, and that is me on the right up there in that picture, in case you were confused.

Artists

1. KISS Ð Maybe not what most of you think of when you think of ÔartÕ, but as far as an overall fun experience of what a band should be, KISS is it. The best live act ever. Sales wise, KISS is the number one American Group Gold Record Holder of All Time!

2. Van Halen Ð Van Halen, not Van Hagar. Maybe I am dating myself here but in terms of sheer energy rock with a great show to boot, you canÕt beat VH. Plus, you canÕt find a better brotherly combo (Eddie guitar, Alex drums) anywhere!

3. ACDC Ð Disclaimer: Must drink whiskey when listening to the Bon Scott era band.

4. Johnny Cash Ð Cash was an American icon with great songs sung from the heart for the average Joe. Had the balls to play prison concerts too. If one of his life dominoes fell another way, he wouldÕve been the one in the audience.

5. Limp Bizkit Ð This is good music to drive too when you are in the mood for something crazy. Just be careful because you will speed up without realizing it.

6. No Doubt Ð Forget about the songs you hear on the radio. Check out Rock Steady and listen to Hella Good, track 2. ThatÕll get your butt moving.

7. Metallica Ð GRRRRRRRRRRR!

8. Third Eye Blind

9. Queens of the Stone Age
