Events Planned for February/March 1999

Important Note: Please be on time for all field trips. They will start as scheduled. Please sign up in advance by the date listed for field trips.

July (date to be announced): Homeschooling group planning committee meeting. We will meet at Kim Jacks' house, 655 North St., to discuss ideas for the 1999-2000 school year. New homeschoolers are welcome. If you are interested, call Kim at 292-1629

August: Summer homeschooling newsletter will come out. This will have information about our first meeting/picnic in September, as well as about some of the activities planned for early autumn. Contact Kim Jacks, 292-1629, to get on the mailing list for this free issue of the Homeschool News.

Throughout the summer: Playgroup meetings, The playgroup for younger children will continue to meet throughout the summer. For information, call Lisa Staubly at 296-5472 or Bettina Dennis at 296-5320.

September 17: Homeschoolers Picnic at Marilla Park, up behind office by baseball fields. All homeschoolers and those interested in homeschooling are welcome. 12:00 noon to 2:00. Bring a bag lunch, and a blanket or chairs if you'd like. Information about upcoming events will be available. You can sign up to receive the group newsletter, cost is $10, but scholarships are available if you need one. Come and meet others and help us kick off the new school year!
