I began am a reference librarian at the Virginia Military Institute and an avid sea kayaker.   Check out my Resume if you want to see my work and educational history.  In my free time I enjoy kayaking (which I have been into for about 8 years) and kayak camping.  I've been into whitewater paddling longer, and have paddled pretty much everything paddleable (except most Class V-VI water!) in North Carolina, and some rivers in Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia. Having been out of the paddling loop for a while, thought, I pretty much content myself with quiet kayaking on local lakes.
