Orange Cat in the Sun

Here's my Mom's cat again, resting in the sun. This is colored pencil on mat board. The dark blue background was not in the original photo. I made it up, leaving just the towel he was lying on. The background color helps to make him glow. Sometimes a simple white background just isn't enough. Dark backgrounds take a long time to do in colored pencil.
