This piece was commissioned as a gift from a lady to her hubby, who is a huge Jimi Hendrix fan. In the original photograph, Hendrix is standing behind a microphone, which covers part of his left side and hand. I decided that the microphone was in the way, and removed it by drawing what was behind it. Art is not magic, but it does get tricky sometimes! This is black colored pencil on Mylar, a kind of drawing plastic.
