Look closely...do you see a chipmunk? He's in the lower right corner, peeking out of his hole. This little guy makes his home in the river rocks around our house. You can see why: he blends right in! Plus, he's within striking distance of our bird feeder.

This is colored pencil on frosted Mylar (also known as drafting film). I draw on both sides of the sheet, which allows me to build up darks quickly. Drawing on plastic sounds crazy, I suppose, but it has some very useful qualities.
