Sometimes, architectural details really inspire me to paint. On the left is a scene in the wonderful harbor town of Beaufort, NC. This was the back entrance to a group of shops and a restaurant called Clawson's. The restaurant later closed this off and expanded. Since they bought the painting, they can do whatever they like, as far as I'm concerned! They also bought another portrait of the front of the restaurant (right). Lovely place. They serve a killer dessert called Death by Chocolate. Don't miss it!
