Photopainting is an art as old as photography itself. However, today photopainting is done with a digitizing tablet, a stylus, a computer, and very sophisticated software. The program I use most is Corel Painter. It allows me to achieve the look of traditional media. In the examples following, the original photograph is on the left, and the photopainted version is on the right. Click on an image to see it enlarged.
