I heard at the time they weren't all too happy with Miles Copeland and were looking for another deal. Their stuff holds up today! Long Live Concrete Blonde. Tommy Bolin- started a lot ....and left the party early Steve Earle-an american poet,a real american artist and a singer that can say f*ck you with the tone of his voice as well as anyone Joni Mitchell-She's influenced just about everyonewhether they know it or not. This is one of the best Web sites out there! Dan Baird and The Georgia Satellites-From the first time I heard their music (on a PA Tape that Jason and the Scorchers were playin' before their show at the Lost Horizon in Syracuse NY) to actually seeing them Rock in person at the Palace Theatre in Hollywood Ca. THIS is the Real deal. Turn It up!! Patty Larkin-The most recent musical tornado to touch my life. Great player, great writer and pretty damn funny too! Karen Savoca- w/ Pete Heitzman -I witnessed a show of theirs at Hamilton College a few months back and was BLOWN AWAY! I purchased both of their CDs on the spot. I asked a lifelong friend of mine(a musician) one day what he was listening to. And he responded" Anything I can find inspiration in!" Well look no further. Check these guys out ! Del-Amitri-so overlooked and so excellent. This is a real cool site with lots of info Steppenwolf- probably the biggest musical influence in my life.
